Words Matter.
In a world where we’re bombarded with so many words and so much information, it can be so easy to zone out. But when we’re using sacred language, we want the opposite to be true. We want to tune in, to lean forward, to be present with open hearts. A Word of Wisdom is a series of resources that help us to do just that. And in the process, we not only find new and deeper connections to words of our faith, but we also begin to realize how important it is to use our words well. Words create our reality, and they form our souls. It’s a worthwhile discipline to use them wisely.
Encounter the Names of God
The Names of God series explores some of the titles we use for God, and how they help us experience and know God’s presence and character. For clergy, the worship and preaching supplement offers scripture passages, commentary on the word, questions to support your own reflection, and some worship suggestions.
A Six-Week Small Group Journey
The small group curriculum is an accessible six-week word study that any lay leader can facilitate. Designed for ease, it can work for a 45 minute Sunday school class or a longer weekly small group offering. Each week follows a contemplative rhythm of gather, reflect, and wonder.
